DJing & Music Curation
I have always curated mix tapes and playlists, but began DJing in NYC sometime after 2008. My friendship and collaborations with Steve Lewis frequently led to gigs and befriending some other really fantastic DJs- Miss Guy and Michael come to mind.
I primarily spin punk, soul, and rock & roll. I have soft spots for goth, post-punk, and jangly, junkshop power pop and will put together a night or play those sets any time. I have also curated event playlists for businesses over the years.
The Offering
I can spin digital or vinyl sets. My rates are dependent on whether it’s a one off or recurring gig, the size and length of the event, what equipment I have to bring, and if I’m just djing or if you’d like help producing the event. I can consult on and help with scope, theme, execution, marketing, artwork…everything. Let’s talk.

Bits of media

These are two tracks I’ve never heard anyone else play: a live, sloppy version from Motorhead of Back Door Man…
…and an amazing redo of James’ Ring the Bells. (Bonus points if you can tell me where you might’ve heard this version before. I’m looking at you, sci-fi people.)
